Welcome to Our Church

Where do I go?

SFBC is located at 1359 Main Street in Sneedville, Tennessee. If you're driving through town, you can't miss it - it's the big brick church just east of the Post Office.

If you're coming for Sunday morning services, most of the Sunday School classes are downstairs in the fellowship hall, and then the worship services are upstairs in the sanctuary.

Wednesday evening midweek services are scattered across the campus - the adults meet upstairs in the sanctuary, while KOW meets downstairs and the youth team meets in the Fellowship Center.

What should I wear?

Come as you are!

Seriously... you will see among our congregation, pastor, and leaders everything from jackets and ties to jeans and t-shirts.

Wear what you feel comfortable in and we promise you'll fit right in!  All we ask is that you please dress modestly.

Will I be asked to give anything?

There will be a time in the service where we pass an offering plate. If you are visiting, we don't expect you to give any money.

You will, however, find a Guest Information card in the pew in front of you. We ask that you fill that out and drop it in the offering plate as your only contribution, as we would love to meet you and get to know you and your family!

Please share your prayer requests on the back of the guest card or on the Prayer Request card available, as we would be honored to help you pray.

What time should I be there?

Our Sunday morning worship service begins at 11:00. If you need help finding a seat, please ask one of our greeters for assistance, as we would love to help you! Sunday school is at 10:00 and is available for all ages.

Our Wednesday evening midweek service begins at 6:00 pm. Please note that if you have children, we serve a Wednesday evening meal for children and students at 6:00.

We can't wait to meet you!

What will the service be like?

We start with a call to worship from God's Word and then we are led in worship by our choir, worship leader, and/or other gifted individuals. Our music is a blend of both traditional songs and hymns, and contemporary worship songs.

If you don't know all the words, it's fine! Should you want to worship in song, the lyrics will be on the screen.

Our pastor will then preach a message from God's Word grounded in Biblical truth.  Each service lasts approximately an hour.
